Japanese Kebab van

It's early morning and Old Man Kanegawa is getting his kebab van ready for another hard day's cooking. The later photos show his granddaughter Yuki rolling up on her moped (and, just like that, another diorama gets underway!).

Yes, I did notice one of the placards was upside down but, hey, it'll be fixed when this finally takes up residence on the diorama.

Thanks Rick, this one is 1/24 scale. Eventually it'll be residing in a diorama based around a market set next to a rural Japanese police station - this one in fact

Pretty cool in deed ! I don’t think I would have ever seen a built model off this unless you built it ! Well done !

It's only taken me another five years but the fleet of catering trucks is slowly building - hey, I never claimed to be quick! The new trio were built ups from Ebay so I had to work with the paint/ decal finish I got. Not perfect by any means but a whole lot better than when I first got them!

Thanks Dave. Downside of this little mock up is that I now realise just how vast this planned diorama is going to be (if it ever gets done)!

Thanks Joe but I think there will be some waiting involved before the diorama is done! At the last count there's about another seven vehicles, fifteen figures, ten stalls and a building to go. Oh, and the base itself!
