Thanks again guys - now … the plan is to plug away on the Stingray sub, maybe go for a 3rd after that & a car or truck as the tow vehicle

Great looking build! Love the "wood"! thanks Dave - I stumbled across a variation of the wood paint technique I was already doing, with a slight change; I looked at a few other builds of this boat that were involving real wood, and although pretty, to me, it actually made it look like a toy boat; I think the reason was mainly because of the size of the real wood grain; the color was dead on ; but the grain of the wood is way out of scale - because they didn't choose a wood with a tighter grain & stained to the correct color & went with the real wood used on the 1:1 ; it actually looks like crap in my opinion. - Anyway .... I love paint - so I went with that.

Boat looks great. Love the paint work. I agree on the trailer, maybe a pin stripe? Not sure though.

Speed boat looks wicked cool! Trailer needs a set of '59 Caddy taillights and Moon discs, tow car IMO would be a late 50's Vette or the Foose Caddy.
