1969 Chevelle SS396

.... this is a model I built ages ago ..... it represents a 1969 Chevelle SS396 that I bought from Plains Chevrolet in Amarillo, Texas in 1969 ..... we bought it while we were home on leave while I was in the Air Force stationed at Offutt AFB in Bellevue, Nebraska ..... 350 horse 396, bench seat, column shift for the Turbo 400 ..... scratch built the front seat from the rear seat from another kit, scratched the shifter from wire, paint is GM Teal touchup lacquer ..... I really loved that little car

That is a beautiful build and color! I had a 69 SS also, Mullsaine Blue, 350,4 speed with a bench. Bought it in S.F. in '71 coming home fro S.E. Asia
