Drag On Lady 1969 AMX

Was a rebuild of a Johan AMX I built many many years ago when the kit was current.
I stripped the chrome to paint the bumpers, added AMT Blue Stripe slicks and a set of vintage AMT Red Striped tires. Added the roll bar from the Revell 1969 Nova. The engine was just wired up. Had a massive adventure with the decals. Three kit sets, a Slixx set and two failed printed sets (one laser and one Alps) Ended up using clear decal film over the Drag on Lady name, letting them dry and than doing the normal water thing to put on the car. They came out so so IMO. Also did a stock hood for stealth. Paul

Nice looking AMX Paul...don’t get see many AMCs in scale or full size. Your method for saving the decals seems to have worked quite well.
