Well, yes, but from the opposite end of the condition spectrum to Paul's!  A glue bomb horror from the vaults! This is pretty much as I got it and disassembly is now underway (including dealing with some filler which I'd swear blind is actually flour and water, it certainly smelt of flour when it got introduced to Mr. Dremel). Chances of it being done by the deadline is almost nil but, hey, if I don't start it, it'll never get done. |

OK, autopsy complete. Looks like the only parts that might not make the grade are the windows (but they're just flat sheet plastic so no major problem), front axle (way too much glue to cut out so partial replacement looks likely) and the headlights (which may present more of an issue). Otherwise, careful application of glue and filler has got the right side door surround into something usable and filled all the obvious gaps. What could possibly go wrong?  |

Bugger! Dropped the chassis last night, parts scattered to the four corners of the playpen. Salvageable, if only because it's still not as badly bashed about as when I started, but not within the deadline any more.
Not a happy camper.
