Here’s what one was a very badly busted up glue bomb, and for some reason I couldn’t just toss it in the trash, so I worked on this on and off for about 7 years!! I just had this picture of a early’60’s show car in my head with this model, starting with piercing the body back together and then cutting it back apart, I pan caked the hood,then hinging the door, hood and trunk then rounding all the corners and molding all the jams, useing the custom interior, windows and chassis from the amt 58 Chevy impala made everything a lot easier on this build, tuck in roll interior, trunk and hood, motor is from a monogram predicta, wheels and tires are from the amt surf woody, custom rear bumper and front grille, top with black with a pearl purple and gold flake top and 2 k clear, I’m sure I’m for getting something , but I’m really glad to finally have this finished and on my shelf and out of my head !! Gary, this is just the coolest 58 I`ve seen in a long time. I wish they would offer a 58 Pontiac kit now, there so hard to find. Love the paint work and over all custom work..
