Monogram "Car in a Bottle"

My model building started around 1976 (9 years old). I remember seeing this kit in magazines and model catalogs included with other kits. I always wanted one but never saw the kit in the various stores where I bought my models. When I started building as an adult, I only saw these kits sealed on ebay for stupid money. I realized I had never seen one built. Well I bought a sealed kit from ebay and Im going to build one. So far the only progress is removing it from the box and taking pics. The box is dated 1975 and the decals are a tad yellow. The plan is to do some minor detailing, I'm not sure if I'll clear coat the plastic or paint it. The kit is now out of the box.

I remember them ; used to see the ads for them on the backs of comic books. I think I'd put the decals on the original plastic and clear coat it , just due to its age and its how 99% would have been built back then !
