A couple cars I owned as a kid

Over the years I’ve been very lucky to have owned some pretty cool cars, and when I first started building models my plan was to build a model of my favorites that I still had a picture of, well that was 1993 and I’m just now starting to build some of my favorite cars, Here’s a couple cars I once owned as a teenager , at 17 in 1977 a 1956 Chevy with a 6 cylinder and 2 speed automatic transmission and at age 19 in 1979 a 1957 Chevy with a 327 and Muncie 4 speed, both super fun cars , I’ve owned a lot of cars in my life so I’m planning on building more of these and will post them as I get em done, thanks for looking!

Really nice builds and really nice cars!

I've owned so many cars in my lifetime I wouldn't want to try to build them all, but there are 3 or 4 I'd build.

You had a couple of sweet cars ! back in 79 I had a clapped out 67 4 door Falcon with a very anemic 200 6cyl out of a Maverick ...

Thanks guys, yeah I really don’t know how I was able to have such cool cars at the age , I didn’t have any money to speak of , when I had that 56 I originally bought it for $400, traded it for another 57 Chevy, sold that and bought the yellow and white 57 for $999.00 !! You can’t even buy the front bumper for that now!! Lol, those were the days!
