I really wasn't sure how to handle or what to do with this; this is not my build. Mike (Morbius) and I had talked over things Rick did over the years, done for others, given away, etc. This is one he had told me about, he sent me some pics, and asked if there was something I could do with it. It is rather old, a little dusty, etc. and something Rick himself was not happy with. I thought others might like to see it. What Mike told me- "Here are some pics of a kit that Rick built a few years back. He was put off with the way he messed up gluing a windshield on this kit so he gave this to me, he wanted to see me do something with it. I added the after-market wheels/tires, roof, windshield frame and headlights all the rest is his."

Best mohair interior on a kit I've ever seen, reminds me of Rick whenever I'm in the model room.

Yes, let's hope they're in a good place. At Rick's house I would sit myself on his basement stairs for eons, where he had the 'Car Show Diorama' displayed. The nook was on the way down the stairs where the previous owners of the house had installed an aquarium. He had it lit just like a real show, too and I couldn't get enough of it. Rick had asked me a few months prior to his leaving us if I'd come by and photograph it in more detail. I regret putting things off like that, I never got back there to do it. There was so much to see with that setup it was so amazing with the dozens of 'spectators' he had in it, some angry, some laughing and others just milling about minding their own business.
What a hoot!
