Northrop XP-56 Black Bullet ll

[DAVE "THE DUKE" ARMSTRONG]

This is an experimental aircraft, from 1943-44, the Northrop XP-56 Black Bullet ll, the second of two versions. This a 1/72 MPM/Special Hobby kit, a bit of a pain in the ass to build; but, it's cool plane (I like it anyway) so I had to build it.

As usual, I left off any wires, as they are just magic dust collectors.

Love experimental planes (in fact experimental anything!), I can't imagine the mindset of the folks who took these into the skies with nothing more than a "Well, we think it should be fine" from the design/ construction teams.
