Of course, it would be massively impractical for any sort of distance, or night time, work but perfect for cruising your local watering holes (when that sort of behaviour wasn't considered antisocial in the extreme....). So, what we have is a 1/9 scale white metal and photo etched 1949 Triumph TT motor, front forks and brake from a Ducati 750S and most of the rest from a 1939 Triumph 350 single. There's been a healthy dash of scratchbuilding too - front number board, exhausts, carb float chamber and all the brackets/ plates needed to cram an engine into a space it wasn't designed for. To keep it all looking clean (and because I couldn't find anywhere else to put it), the oil tank is mounted next to the fuel tank but with enough of a gap between them to stop the fuel getting too hot. The tank decals were a very lucky find at the bottom of the decal box and fit neatly with the whole Triumph Tiger theme. The whole project was made all the more difficult because, if you look closely, both tyres had got squashed on one edge so everything had to be built around where they were compressed to make it look like the bike's weight was on that contact patch. Not my idea of fun! Race you to the next bar? Last one there gets the beers in!

Thanks Guys! This had been on the "one day" pile for years because I wasn't sure how I was going to get all the parts to work together, then I thought "Seriously, what's the worst that could happen?" and ripped into it!

You Brits and your Triumphs! 😁😁 a very nice build my friend. What paint did you use on the tank and fender? I like the color.

Thanks Bert. Paint is an Alclad candy over their silver base and their aqua clear on top. I'd never used those paints before but they went down nice and smooth with no problems. Highly recommended.
