My Dad had one of these, a '64, beige/creme with brown leather or leather-like seats. I liked it. I thought about replicating it, but I just don't do stock- drag it is!
Stock '64 Olds 442 Cutlass turned into an AWB. I also used some of the custom bumpers and parts, molded them into the body. Testors gold and emerald paint, miscellaneous decals from Slixx and others. Windows done with Gundam marker.
Definitely not my best work. I had the devil of a time with the paint and clear on this one, had to strip the paint, resand and reprime; after the paint and clear, had to sand the clear and clear again. I'm getting real sick of Testors products, unreliable results. I have a lot of it still in my supply, but I just feel like throwing it all out, so frustrating! Not perfect but it's done and on the shelf- comments welcome.
Stormy weather coming out on the back porch, strange reflections in the paint.
