'69 Camaro Pace Car turned drag

I have several of these in the stash, I've had for a long time. I know there would be some that would think that it was a horror that I didn't build the car on the cover (not you guys!) but since I have others, I can always do so.

No, what drew my interest was an option on the side of the box.





I took some of the drag parts and some of the custom to build my own version. Shaved off the light markers, emblems and scripts. Paint is Roth metal flake. I colored the wheels. I debated on painting the cover black, but seeing it colored in the box picture convinced me to paint it like the body.

Not a perfect job, but comments welcome.

Thanks for the engine shot! I never knew that kit came with such a weird option pack - love it! Not quite sure what class it would compete in but you can guarantee it would be coolest looking entry!

... well, after the look at the blown big block, it would probably be safe to say that it would run in AA/something class ... very nicely done, I also didn't know that kit came with those options
