I have several of these in my stash, but the only one I had opened I had used to rob parts from! So, years later, I was looking around, opened another, and really looked at it- found it had a couple of different options on it. Well, I decided to build both at the same time. This is one, built boxstock, Roth Kandy Wine with Calypso gold metallic flake over it. Detailed the wheels and used Gundam chrome marker on the top. No other detailing. These kit molds are old, a lot of flash to clean up, AND the front and rear pans don't fit well, need a lot of filling and sanding to fit- look nice if you put the effort into it. All in all, not my best work, but it will have to do. Comments welcome.

Yes, an engine shot will keep me happy but so do vintage Vettes with honking great motors, so this makes me really happy!

Beautiful work Dave…I love the color! These kits are notorious for being difficult to get together and a terrible fit between the body and front end… don’t see any evidence of that on yours! Also, nice work on the top’s chrome trim. I need to get one of these for the stash.

Also, nice work on the top’s chrome trim. I need to get one of these for the stash. Thanks Pete! Terrible amounts of flash, the front and rear pans require a LOT of work, the front end doesn't mate well with the rest of the body (and I've devised a way for the next flip front type build [not the option 2 version of this Vette, which I'll be posting soon, as they were built together], to paint the the two body pieces together, without gluing, so there isn't a shade difference in the parts.
