I don't often post WIP shots because: i) I'm too lazy, and ii) I'm usually too involved in the build to stop and take photos. I've made an exception here though because a lot of this detail will get lost once the body panels are in place so I thought I'd just record them for posterity. Seems a shame to cover it up!

First things first the detail is outstanding The work you have put into this is museum quality It's a shame it all going to hidden ever thought about removable panels Hope your friend appreciates you time and work Gread build Harley

Glad you like it Joe! The main issue with the panels is that the exhaust mounts onto the tail piece/ seat unit so it would be tricky (not impossible) to find a way of taking the unit off without taking the exhaust with it. The nose fairing is just plain fiddly and a less than careful set of hands would wreck the wiring underneath it. That said, if I can't get the awkward paint separation lines to work this is what he might be getting!
