Brutus '65 GTO AWB
Not a perfect replica, but another "close enough for MY shelf". No foil or wiring.
I used a resin body, and an AMT '65 GTO kit. I cut the hole for the engine similar to the 1:1. I used the kit interior and chassis, and surgically altered both for the conversion. Used the basic kit engine, Revell Parts Pack blower assembly. Resin wheels; parts box front tires; AMT slicks from a Parts Pack. I detail painted the wheels. Fremont decals (I love 'em, they're great). Tamiya Brilliant Orange paint. Couple of boo-boos with the paint, due to the heat here; but with some polishing, came out ok. Still shooting pics outside under the porch cover.
