Up to the end of WWll, it was known as a P-51; P=pursuit; after WWll, the USAF adopted the F=fighter. This was way after WWll, therefore an F-51. This F-51 is in Salvadoran colors, from the 100 Hours War (July 14-18, 1969, El Salvador vs. Honduras). 1/72 Hasegawa kit, MRP paints, Aztec Decals. Comments welcome.

I don't think I've ever seen a Mustang (P or F51) in camo colours before. Suddenly there's a sort of Spitfire silhouette going on!

Also looks great. I haven't built any planes but the Camo interests me. May have to look into a kit
