Love the re-spoked wheels Ron (actually, I love all the mods you've made to that Beemer!), I'm not sure I've got the patience to do it though - maybe I'll stick with cast wheels!

The ESCI/ Ertl Triumph kit was repopped by Italeri a while ago (it's appeared under the Aurora banner as well).

A twin turbo Ducati lump? I want to see that!

I know, I know, get off my tail and build something. Kicking full size bikes into shape has been taking up way too much time lately but the Sporty drag bike is inching ever closer to the start line!

Ducati style Honda. . .two 750's combined to make a V8 with a turbo for each bank of cylinders. Here's a pic of the non turbo Honda 1500cc V8 . Paul

Just a small update

Started with the tank, also the rear fender is started this one is from old Indian and a dry fit off the fake shock absorbers.

Thnx Rick I`m also happy how its look at the moment and I hope that I can finished in time and if not no problem its a lot off work, more then i thought when I entered this challenge :-)

here is my progess so far l went for the invader look for the rims l still need to get a front tire l really don't like the look of it l turn one out of wood
and added a new oil tank
added some detail to the engine

Finally got to get some done on it. Deraked the neck. Made up the balance of the rear wheel assembly with the disc brake from the Tony Nancy double dragster kit. Got the 4 into 2 into 1 exhaust made up, the intake done and the Turbo mounted. This is all taped and rubber banded together so I could add some frame members. Paul

Got a bit more done this weekend, kind of wish it was bigger than 1/25. Narrowed the fuel tank and mounted it. Added the lower rear frame member and made up the Nitrous bottle and angled mount for the bottle. The biggest project was making up a Sireani style front end. Made up the triple trees from plastic and the upper tubes and lower legs from brass tubing. I have it positioned at the height I want, so now I can trim the tubes at the top. I have a pair of disc brakes for the front wheel from an old funny car kit. Next is a set of risers and drag bars. Paul

Super Fantastic work Paul !! , I'm working on 1/25 Chopper .... no progress pics, cause I keep making changes - I made up a set of forks, I'll probably go with a new pair .... I'm not thrilled with them. I also made a tank & seat - 1/25 is tricky to do for a bike, but it sure does look very cool !!!

1/25 is tough to do, nothing really made. I was going to use the Revell 1/25 H.D. kit from a zillion years ago , but chickened out.
Mine is taking on a life of it's own, not really a drag bike, not a chopper. It's kind of morphing into a street racer. I won't really know until it's done. Paul

Got the fender braces (barely visible) and fender made up an mounted and shot some color on it. This is Purple Shimmer nail polish. First time I ever used it on a model. Nice to use. Paul

OK, I know it's not a road bike but it is a bike and I'm building it for this contest. Even better, thanks to Vince I can now build the coolest remote starter ever! Hardly anything to finish.......
