I have just done some small things that are important for me for the rest off the build. First I made the Beemer a little longer at the back. Made a dry fit with a other wheel, this one have a smaller rim but a fat tire on it Works well but I must only change the complete wheel because this on is for a chain drive.

Thnx Rick. The rear wheel is spooked after two days off hard labor On the left the position for drawing the place where the new spokes are coming. After that I made some slots with a Xacto saw 50 spokes from copper rod Then I glued the spokes to the center with a 2k glue, I did not glue the spokes on the rim itself this if I must made some corrections if its not right align with the second part of the rim After all that work I sit back and enjoy my work Next step some putty work on the rim for removing the seam between the two halves of the rim.

Looks great with all that extra bulk gone Joe - are you going with the kit pipes, or something more radical ?

10 dollar that's a nice price for this bike. I don't know if you have done this before making new spokes? This is my way of doing it. You start with one cross section spokes, remove them drill holes and attach a spoke in it. Then the same at the opposite side Then turn the the wheel one fourth?? (the idea off a + don't know how to explain better) and repeat the above steps. Then you can fill in the remaining spokes. Its a lot easy er then what I have done on the Beemer. Here some old pic`s from my Harley WL45 with new spoked wheels.

My back has healed enough to get some bench time, Yippeee!! I had a real custom bike shop from 1980 to 1995 in Glen Cove, N.Y.. I built H.D.'s, Indians and Brits. Never had a Jap bike in the shop, so this is a first for me. This is parts of the Tiki Trike. I did the basic mods to make it a two wheeler. So far I've fit the sprocket and axle spacers to get the rear frame width. Now that the dimensions are set, I can clean up the frame with new rear axle mounts, a disc brake caliper mount for the right side and a pair of braces for the rear frame. I may derake it some to run a Durfee style Girder Front end. . .see what it loooks like on wheels. Engine wise I'm leaning towards a twin turbo 750 or Ducati style 1500 cc Honda V twin 4. Kind of going to wing the power pack as I go. depending on my mood. At this moment I'm going for a Pro Touring style. Paul
