[glow=red,2,300]COOL WILLY GETS A NEW HELMET!!![/glow] Not much room between the roof of the BuG and Willys head, so I decided to make a helmet for him. First I wrapped a strip of Solder around Willys head and glued it in place. I applied putty behind the solder and started rounding out the Helmet area with putty. Here are a couple of photos after the putty has been sanded a bit...

[glow=red,2,300]REVELL EMPI...MuD BuG!!![/glow] I found this old sheet of decals that were perfect for the BuG! The Inch Pincher Too!/Revell Empi Decals were a little brittle and broke up a bit, but I did manage to get them in place... I painted the inside of the body with Light Tan. I also painted some details with Flat Black. Where's the MuD?

[glow=red,2,300]WE HAVE A ROLL BAR!!![/glow] I made this Roll Bar with Flexible Plastic Rod... I had to position the Bar outside the window because there was no room inside! Next I cut lengths of Plastic Tubing and added more bracing to the Roll Bar. I painted the Bars with Testors Aluminum.

[glow=red,2,300]COOL WILLY IS READY!!![/glow] After I painted Cool Willy with Acrylics, I sprayed him with Testors Dullcote to seal the paint. Then I put a Black "Detailer" Wash on his face. Next I painted over his Helmet & Glasses with Clear Gloss. The Shifter, Fire Extinguisher & Steering Wheel are all from the Parts Box... The Revell VW Dashboard is very nicely detailed. I added Gauge Decals a little paint and a Black "Detailer" Wash... Almost ready to put everything together...

[glow=red,2,300]COMING TOGETHER!!![/glow] I positioned the interior in the body and used a few drops of Zap-A-Gap-Green Label to hold them together. I added a few more drops where needed and then I used Aleene's Tacky Glue to fill all of the gaps. Next I glued the 911 Engine in with Testors Red Label. I added a small piece of screen and a Porsche decal to the Engine...
